Refund policy
1. General Provisions
This Return Policy governs the conditions and procedures under which customers may return purchased products. By placing an order through our platform, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms set forth in this policy.
2. Return Period and Conditions
Customers have the right to return their purchase within thirty (30) calendar days after receiving the product. Within the European Union, customers are entitled to a statutory 14-day cooling-off period, during which they may withdraw from the purchase without providing a reason. The right of withdrawal applies only if the product is returned in its original condition, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase or receipt must be included with the return.
3. Return Address and Authorization

Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted. If the return is approved, we will provide a return shipping label and detailed instructions for completing the return process.
4. Condition of Returned Items
Returned products must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in their original packaging with all original tags attached. Products that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to a partial refund. We advise customers to use a trackable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance when returning products. We do not guarantee receipt of returned items.
5. Damaged or Incorrect Products
Customers are required to inspect their order immediately upon delivery. If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, customers must notify us in writing at hotmeal@maincourse.mg within forty-eight (48) hours after delivery. Claims made after this period may not be accepted. We may request photographic evidence to verify the damage or error before providing a replacement, repair, or refund.
6. Refund Procedure
Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, we will notify the customer of the approval or rejection of the refund. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original method of payment within ten (10) business days. Customers should note that their financial institution may take additional time to post the refund to their account. If more than fifteen (15) business days have passed since the refund was approved, customers should contact hotmeal@maincourse.mg
7. Customer’s Responsibility
Customers are responsible for properly packaging and shipping returned items, including all original materials and documentation. The risk of loss or damage during return shipment lies with the customer. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
8. Exchanges
The fastest way to obtain a replacement product is to return the original item and place a new order. Exchanges will be processed once the returned product has been received and approved.
9. Statutory Rights
This Return Policy does not affect customers’ statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in this policy shall exclude or limit any legal rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
